The official launch of www.werelderfgoed.nl took place on 15 March 2006.
The official launch of Internet site www.werelderfgoed.nl took place on the former island of Schokland in the Nooordoostpolder by Ms Medy C. van der Laan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science on 15 March 2006. She also presented specially designed plaques to the members of the Boards of the World Heritage sites in the Netherlands. These plaques serve to distinguish the World Heritage sites in the Netherlands.
